Against the edge of the bed1
dreams stack themselves
one on top of the other
each waiting their turn
to be selected
for the midnight matinee
now showing
in the mind asleep on the pillow

Figured I'd tack mine on here as well:
now showing
ten months of hard work
sweat and grind
five days a week
lifting and stretching
two abdominal muscles
faintly emerging
under the last layer
of fat nearest the ribcage
I gave up
ice cream and pie
to be taunted like this
in my own home
give me the fucking pie
This is so whimsical!! Dreams are one of my favorite topics too. Great job!
